Gauged Plugs
Accurate gauging your ears is actually not so easy to do. First you have to pierce your ears (traditionally people get them pierced with an 18 gauge and I don't recommend going with the 16 to save time). When you do this you need to continue to disinfect it and turn the gauged plugs. It takes six weeks of doing this and you'll be ready to begin your gauging progress. Now you should buy gauged plugs under what you normally get so if you started with 18 so you need to go from 18-16, 16-14, 14-12, 12-10 and so on until you get your estimated result. When you do this buy your tappers and insert them into the already pierced hole in you ears. Make sure you clean carefully and wash in salt water while doing so. This sanitary procedure is very important. Just insert the tapper until completely in your ear. Leave in for about 2 hours, and after this you can insert the gauged plugs. The smaller the number gauged plugs get bigger. Be convinced you continue to turn them for some time and wash them thoroughly. If they become really sore or red you'd better take them out and see a doctor immedietly. You actually need to wait about a month between each gauge but nobody really does. If patience is not enough just wait about a week between each. Now you are set to go with your new gauged ears. Have fun and enjoy your new fashionable look! Tags: pierced
